Effective 11 October 2026Policy / Current

Privacy, without the fine-print fog.

Quadrantist keeps your planner useful offline and collects only the information needed to provide accounts, synchronization and features you choose to enable.

01 / Scope

This policy explains how Quadrantist handles information when you use its applications, account service, synchronization service and support. By using Quadrantist, you acknowledge these practices.

For privacy requests, contact [email protected].

02 / Information we handle

Account information

We process your email address, authentication account identifier and configured time zone to create and secure your account, authenticate you and apply scheduling behavior.

Planner content

When sync is enabled, we process tasks, notes, projects, tags, recurrence rules, reminders, task status, focus time entries and synchronization records. Pending offline edits and conflict information remain local until synchronized or resolved.

Device and service information

An installation identifier supports reliable synchronization, timer arbitration and idempotent operations. Limited operational metrics and fixed error categories may be processed for reliability; these are designed not to contain task content, calendar content, or direct user and device identifiers.

Subscription information

Apple processes purchases and payment details. Quadrantist receives signed transaction and subscription status information needed to grant, restore or expire Pro access. We do not receive complete payment-card details.

03 / Calendars

Calendar access is optional and requested only when you choose a calendar feature.

  • Apple Calendar: EventKit calendar data and event references remain on your Apple device and are not uploaded by this integration.
  • Google Calendar: when explicitly connected, Quadrantist processes your provider identifier, selected calendar metadata, a bounded event cache, sync cursors and task time-block links. Provider credentials are encrypted and not returned to the app or written to application logs.

You choose active calendars. External events remain separate from tasks. Disconnecting Google Calendar removes credentials and disables provider synchronization.

04 / Notifications and widgets

If reminders are enabled, task notification content and deep links are provided to the device notification service. A notification may include a limited preview of task notes; lock-screen visibility is controlled by system settings.

The Matrix widget stores four open-task counts and no more than four task titles in the platform-private shared app container. It does not store notes, account information, projects, tags, timer details or calendar data.

05 / How we use information

  • Provide accounts, authentication and cross-device synchronization.
  • Store, organize and display planner content.
  • Deliver reminders and maintain timer consistency.
  • Provide calendar integrations only when enabled.
  • Validate subscriptions and provide Pro features.
  • Protect the service, diagnose failures and improve reliability.
  • Respond to support and privacy requests.

Quadrantist does not use planner or calendar content for advertising, and does not sell personal information.

06 / Providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by infrastructure, authentication, email and monitoring providers acting on our behalf, and by Apple or Google when you use their services. Providers process information under their own applicable terms.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or preserve service security and integrity. Planner content is not disclosed for third-party advertising.

07 / Retention

Active planner content is retained until you delete it or your account. Sync change records are kept as needed for devices reconnecting after offline use. Google Calendar caching is bounded to the required synchronization window.

Account deletion removes account data from active systems and clears account-scoped data on the device completing deletion. A one-way hash of the deleted authentication subject may be kept to prevent an old valid credential recreating the account. Operational backups may temporarily retain deleted information until rotation.

08 / Security

Quadrantist uses encrypted network connections, platform secure storage for authentication secrets, account-scoped authorization and encryption services for provider credentials. No security system is infallible, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Keep your password confidential and email [email protected] if you believe your account is compromised.

09 / Your choices and rights

  • Edit or delete planner content within Quadrantist.
  • Decline or revoke calendar and notification permissions.
  • Disconnect Google Calendar.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.
  • Delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • Contact us about access, correction, deletion or other applicable rights.

Some information may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or enforcing agreements.

10 / Children

Quadrantist is a general-audience productivity service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age permitted in their region.

11 / International processing

Quadrantist and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

12 / Policy changes

We may update this policy for product, legal or operational changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
